Our community involvement in and around the Tyler, Texas area.
2017
Hospice of East Texas Tyler, & The Green Zone Veterans, sponsored by Fairwood United Methodist Church. VP Jim Wolfman & President Butch Fulton BK TX XXXIV delivered 30/$30 gift cards to the Green Zone Bill Smith & his Pastor Brandy Stevens were very appreciative for our donation , which will help homeless veterans and some assistance with veteran families in need of help, some Christmas hams will be purchased for several families.
The Hospice of East Texas Tyler, Denice Smith and Chantel Longino were the ladies in charge of special donations, they will ensure some home patients will receive help, and items for children who have family in hospice care will have a child friendly area with toys movies and help aids to help them understand what is happening to loved ones.
This was an awesome and amazing gift our chapter has done, the BK TX XXXIV stepped up and help several people this year more than you realize, the little things we take for granted is a huge gift of love for these people, including the staff and volunteers who are donating time to help
I was so happy, sad, & filled with mixed emotions for this opportunity to share our chapters love and the true meaning of Christmas, Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Thank you VP Jim Wolfman for assistance in everything.
God Bless
